Book 1 - Sofi's Diary Sofi, a passionate but talentless young artist, is hiking in Yosemite when she witnesses an otherworldly flash that fills the evening sky. Hours later she sees a tiny blue light descend from the stars and disappear into the forest. Sofi pursues it to a small clearing, but when she feels compelled to touch the mysterious visitor - still too small to identify - it vanishes in a sudden luminous poof. The following day a surprisingly aggressive army division quarantines the entire valley. Sofi is obsessed with the hidden promise of the apparition, but angry soldiers are also searching for something important in the forest - along with unseen and even more desperate forces from MUCH farther away... |
Book 2 - President's Memoir
The President and his senior advisors are responding to an extraordinary flash of light that detonated high above the Pacific Ocean just a few hours ago. An uneasy calm ensues...until a holographic message of alien origin suddenly appears in the Oval Office. Mr. Tremendous, Senior Executive Authority for Interstellar Transport, has misplaced "a very valuable piece of IT property" somewhere in Yosemite. He wants it back. Immediately. A terrifying display of Dragon Power in the sky above Washington demonstrates his awesome resolve. The President sends a massive invasion force into the Park, hoping to find the mysterious unnamed item (and the "thief" to whom it is somehow attached), but information is scarce, time is short, and plans quickly go awry... |
Book 3 - Gardenner's Legend
Mr. Tremendous is not the only alien looking for Sofi and her little friend. Ambassador Chomm represents a world that seeks to break Interstellar Transport's galactic trade monopoly, which the Greys control by enslaving a race of hyperspace-travelling dragons. It was Chomm's reckless conspiracy that inadvertently liberated the dragon-egg...that hatched in the Yosemite forest and imprinted on Sofi by mistake...and the surprisingly clever baby dragon does indeed regard her as his mother. Chomm invites Sofi to fly her dragon for Gardennia; in return they will protect her from the ruthless leader of IT, who will seek to reclaim his property. Their saucer-ship soon arrives at a vast orbital habitat for agricultural production, and Sofi learns that Chomm's race, like many in the galaxy, actually has a dragon religion. But their leader, Qolt, might not be a trustworthy ally... |
